Ilok manager app software upgrade#
The most likely reason for this is that there is a software upgrade where the new version needs a new iLok licence, so it is necessary to surrender the old license and then a new replacement license for the new version of the software can be deposited into your iLok account and onto your iLok to replace the license that needs surrendering. Double clicking the licence will open the Details Pane where you will be able to see more information about a license that needs surrendering. Licences that require the surrender of another licence are marked in the iLok Licence Manager with a blue flag icon. Option 2 - Check whether or not the affected licence(s) require surrendering. Once expired, such licences cannot be used and are displayed in light grey text. Check the Expiration Date column to see if the licence has expired. Option 1 - Does the license displayed in the iLok Licence Manager have a grey clock icon? Some Licenses Can Be Activated On An iLok, While Others Fail To fix this, refer to the Perform Synchronize Option above. If the above does not apply, your iLok may be out of sync with your account, which in some cases can cause license activation to fail. The iLok may be shown in the left-hand list with a red icon (rather than black): This either means that you are not signed in, or that the iLok is registered to a different account than you are currently signed into.
